International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study and practice of the political, economic, social, and cultural interactions between sovereign states and non-state actors on the global stage. It encompasses the analysis of the relationships between countries, the roles of international organizations, the impact of transnational issues, and the influences of international governance. The field examines various theories and frameworks to understand how states and other entities engage with each other, including diplomacy, conflict resolution, security studies, international law, and global economics. International Relations seeks to address complex global challenges such as war, trade, human rights, and environmental issues, aiming to promote peaceful coexistence and cooperation among nations. It combines insights from disciplines such as political science, history, sociology, and economics to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the world functions in a politically interconnected context.
