Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing gloves and protective gear, engage in a contest of strength, speed, and strategy by throwing punches at each other. It is usually conducted in a rectangular ring with specific rules governing the match, including permissible techniques, scoring, and the duration of rounds. The objective is to outscore the opponent by landing punches effectively and avoiding being hit, or to achieve a knockout, which occurs when one competitor is unable to continue fighting. Boxing has a rich history and is both a professional sport and an amateur competition, with various governing bodies overseeing different levels and styles of the sport.
